Shipping policy
Shipping within Canada
- $14.99 flat rate anywhere in Canada.
- Free shipping on orders of $125 or more. Subscription boxes, Advent calendars and any item marked on its product page aren't included in free shipping.
- Orders ship with Canada Post, with tracking, usually within 1 business day.
You'll get an email with your tracking number as soon as your order ships. Delivery dates are estimates from Canada Post and can't be guaranteed. If your tracking says "delivered" but you don't have your package, please give it 24 hours, then email us and we'll open a claim with Canada Post.
Shipping outside Canada
International shipping isn't available at checkout, but we're happy to quote. Email hello@thelocalspace.ca. International orders may be charged duties and taxes on arrival, which are the customer's responsibility.
Same-day delivery in Chilliwack
Live in Chilliwack? Choose local same-day delivery at checkout.
Free pickup
- The Local Space, Chilliwack: 101-46132 Yale Road. Usually ready within 1 business day.
- Highland Flowers, Downtown Langley: 20555 56 Ave #4. Delivered once a week, on Thursdays.
- Wildflowers Style & Co., Willoughby Town Centre: 175-20728 Willoughby Town Centre Drive. Delivered once a week, on Thursdays.
On long-weekend weeks, Langley orders are delivered on Wednesday instead. Please wait for your "ready for pickup" email before coming in, then show it (or give your last name and order number) when you arrive. No appointment needed.
Please collect within 7 days of your ready-for-pickup email. Orders not collected within 7 days, unless you've been in touch with us, are cancelled and refunded minus a 15% restocking fee. As a small business, we can't absorb this cost.
Uncollected shipments
If Canada Post can't deliver your package and it isn't picked up from the post office, it's returned to us. Returned shipments are refunded minus a 15% restocking fee and the original shipping cost.
Sold-out items
Our online stock is shared with our shop, so occasionally an item sells out before we can pack your order. If that happens, we'll let you know within 3 business days and refund that item.
The Local Box subscription
Boxes are charged on the 10th, about 2 months before they ship, so we can confirm quantities with the small brands we work with.
