So, what is The Local Space, eh?
Well to be put simple, we're a store. We're a kick ass store that sells kick ass products made by kick ass local Canadian people. We're also a little sassy and sell things that some people may call "inappropriate" but those people just aren't our people - we can't be everyones cup of tea, right? We're a store that sell all Canadian products and kick ass gift boxes and baskets for all your corporate gifting needs.

Oh hey, that's me 👋 I am the owner, operator, bossy boss, and according to my business cards I'm a local beer drinking bad influence(r) over on the 'gram.

I'm an IVF mom, dog mom (RIP Bubba), wife, lover of the kitchen, website designer, slight OCD, a bit of a trucker mouth, local beer drinker and advocate for everything and anything local.

We are lucky enough to have a kick ass team of women that support The Local Space everyday. Most of our team has been with us for 4+ years 🎉
it's been a journey.
2017: We opened in the ME Plaza in Langley
2018: We moved to the one-way in Downtown Langley
2020: The dreaded "vid" happened. Opened our Chilliwack Store.
2021: Opened our warehouse, opened our South Surrey Store, Renovated our Langley Store. I don't remember much of this year.
2023: The aftermath of covid is still lingering for small businesses, began the downsizing of the business. Closed South Surrey and cut down our team.
2025: Closed our warehouse, said good-bye to our beloved OG location in Downtown Langley
