$32.50 for a 1000 pc puzzle is tough to swallow, but I took the plunge to support local (I also love the image). Bonus, I saved $15 on shipping by purchasing through The Local Space rather than purchasing directly from Villager Puzzles.
Pros: matte finish, thick solid pieces (don't damage easily like some brands), perfect fit (there is no second guessing whether a piece is in the correct spot), local company, packaging (comes in a solid box with a magnetic closure and a resealable plastic bag for the pieces).
Cons: pieces stain easily (be careful if eating/drinking around the puzzle), and the fit of the pieces is very loose (the pieces don't 'snap' and 'lock' in place so I was constantly pulling the puzzle in towards itself to reduce the size of the gaps between the pieces).
Overall, I am very happy with my purchase. The finished puzzle is quite nice and is frame-worthy!
