We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return for store credit.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. Some items are exempt from returns and are final sale (All sale items, intimates, bath and body products, earrings). You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase (or have purchased on your Local Space account).
To start a return, you can contact us at hello@thelocalspace.ca. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: 46132 Yale Rd #101, Chilliwack, BC V2P 0J6 at your own expense.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like sale items, custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), personal care goods (such as beauty products) and sale items.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. As always, exchanges can be done in store.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically receive your store credit within 10 business days.
If the refund was due to a mistake on our end or damaged merchandise the refund will be processed to your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at hello@thelocalspace.ca so that we can investigate.
Abandoned Orders
All abandoned orders are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
Cancelled Orders
All cancelled orders are subject to a 3% processing fee - this fee is out of our control and we do not profit from, 100% of this fee goes to merchant processing which we have to pay whether you cancel your order or not.
The products in this year's Advent were so great! Opening a new gift each day in December was awesome! I love trying new items and also getting some of my favs.
I tried a different advent calendar last year when yours wasn't available and it was okay but I was not even close to as happy with the products. I was so excited you were doing one again this year, and day after day it did not disappoint. There were a few products that weren't suited to me but they made excellent stocking stuffers for other family members. Everything was perfect and such a great variety of products.
2025 I think has been my favourite one so far! Love trying new things that become favourites and such a variety- also incredible value!! Thank you for another amazing year!
