I am Megan and I am what you can call a Canadian Small Business Wiz. I love helping Canadian businesses kickass and take on the world, I have found there are a lot of "experts" out there but a ton of them are American based and the Canadian market is just so different up here (and better 😉).

After retailing over 250+ Canadian brands in my brick & mortars for almost ten years, I've seen a gap in the industry when it comes to support for small Canadian product based businesses, so here I am.

I have worked with 200+ different small Canadian businesses for almost ten years. From building their websites, doing their social media, consulting on their packaging and marketing efforts to retailing their products in my brick and mortars; I have seen all the different sides and stages of small businesses and there is nothing I love more than seeing a Canadian small business succeed.

My background is a shit mix, but I think that is what has helped me get to where I am today. I have 16 years experience with the Dairy Queen franchise (from ice cream maker, to manager, to marketing and beyond) and 10 years in the corporate world with the retirement home industry where I started in marketing and ended with running the BC division for a large chain of homes. It's funny, but the mixture of franchise and corporate experience has helped me so so much in establishing policies, procedures and other business practicese.

My education includes Langara College for Journalism and Simon Fraser University for Marketing and Business. Of course, I continue to update my education in the marketing and business world every year since it is such an ever-changing industry.

All rules are off when it comes to our 1-1 brainstorming sessions. Sessions take place either via zoom or at our "office" aka The Barley Merchant in North Langley. Common topics for brainstorming sessions:

  • Employee training establishment

Brick & Mortar audits are two hours in length onsite and we will really dig into your business over that two hours. We will review the following items (but not limited to):

After the audit is completed, within seven days you will receive a comprehensive audit to your email including any recommendations or suggestions for your business.

My most popular offering is WhatsApp business consulting (unlimited communication and questions via WhatsApp messaging) or bi-weekly 60 minute zoom calls.
