What is The Local Marketplace?
The Local Marketplace is an online shopping platform within The Local Space's website to shop Canadian brands that we do not sell in our brick and mortar locations. These brands ship out directly from their individual locations.
How does shipping work with Local Marketplace products?
You are charged shipping per brand. Local Marketplace products offer flat rate shipping decided by the vendor you are purchasing from. Again, these shipping costs are PER brand. If you purchase products from multiple brands participating in the Local Marketplace program you will be charged whatever their shipping rate is per brand (most brands from $9-$15). Can you do local pick up with the Local Marketplace?
No, the products are only available via shipping directly from the brands.
Our shampoo bars utilize plant oils, butters, botanicals, and essential oils to deliver natural conditioning for your hair and scalp.
Choose between:
Chamomile Citrus - for oily scalp conditions - Chamomile florals and citrus essences bring out the lighter hues in blonde locks and impart a lustrous gleam to darker tresses. Citrus essential oils balance and condition an oily scalp without over-stripping.
Rosemary Mint - for normal conditions - Peppermint and rosemary, when combined, is theorized to promote hair growth and leave your locks glossy and your scalp feeling a revitalizing sensation.
Tea Tree - for dry scalp conditions - The antibacterial and antiseptic properties of tea tree oil can provide relief for a dry, itchy, or flaky scalp.

Packaging is zero waste and made of biodegradable seed paper. For ideal growth, place the paper beneath 1/8'' of soil and keep it in a sunny spot. Water regularly to observe beautiful wildflowers bloom.
Thoroughly wet your hair with warm water, then build up lather in your hands. Massage the shampoo into the top of your head, and repeat to work it down the length of your hair. Rinse thoroughly and repeat if more lather is needed. Finish with a conditioner or hair rinse, and allow the bar to air-dry between uses.
