We offer FREE shipping for our Local Insiders on all orders over $50 (within Canada), click here to sign up for our Local Lovers program. This offer is valid for products stocked by The Local Space and not items available through The Local Marketplace; see below for further information regarding Marketplace shipping rates.

During checkout you will see the total price (including taxes, shipping and hanling charges) in the currency as to where you are ordering from before you place your order.

Your credit card (or Paypal) we be charged as soon as you rocess your order through the website. If you order from both The Local Space and a Local Marketplace vendor at the same time, you will be charged all at the same time.

Local Marketplace

The Local Marketplace is a Canadian-wide marketplace for Canadian brands to sell their products on The Local Space's website. Participants in The Local Marketplace are labeled on each product page (so you know the difference between The Local Space inventory vs Marketplace inventory) and follow the shipping pricing structure listed below. Brands with specific shipping rates will be added to the chart as new brands join the program. Marketplace items are only available for shipping within Canada.

Since every brand listing their products on our platform through The Local Marketplace program are shipping from indvidual locations, shipping is charged per brand (Example: You cannot spend $30 with The Local Space and $25 with Wexford Candles and recieve free shipping, you would have to spend $50 with The Local Space to recieve free shipping from The Local Space and then $99 from Wexford Candle to recieve free shipping from that brand). You will be charged shipping for every brand you purchase from in The Local Marketplace (unless you reach the brands minimum for free shipping).

Tracking Orders

When your order is ready to be shipped, you will recieve a shipment confirmation email. The email will contain your order number, your tracking number and a link to track your order. To track the order, click on the Track My Order button located near the bottom of the email. You can also access this information on your account page on thelocalspace.ca.

For your convenience, you will see the expected delivery date for your order. This is not a guarantee, delays happen. We cannot guarantee any delivery timelines.

Sometimes there are tech issues and a package will be marked delivered before delivered, please give it 24 hours before panicking.

Order Processing

Orders are processed by The Local Space as they are recieved during our regular business hours. All orders that require shipping are sent out from our Warehouse location.

Since shipping orders can include items from multiple locations, processing times can be up to 7 business days.

Orders processed with The Local Marketplace vendors can expect up to 5 business days, unless otherwise specified on the individual product pages. Some products are made to order, please refer to the individual product pages for up to date information.

Subscription Boxes

Subscription boxes are charged aproximately 60 days before shipments. Because we are dealing with smaller brands, we have to confirm quantities with the brands after the ordering period is completed. Below is the payment and shipping schedule.

Incomplete Orders

While we do our best to ensure our online inventory levels are accurate, our inventory is connected to our brick and mortar locations, there is always the possibility of errors.

In the event that an item you have ordered online had been sold or not found, we will do our best to notify you witin 3 business days and will be refunded for the item. Please allow up to 10 days for your cred t card company to post the refund to your account. If you have any questions, you may contact us at warehouse@thelocalspace.ca.
